We have established the following quality policies and are promoting all quality assurance activities in order to respond to customer needs and expectations concerning quality.

Acquisition of ISO9000 series


May. 1996 Singapore Branch Office acquired ISO9002 certification.
May. 1997 SEC Mashibah Sdn. Bhd., Brunei acquired ISO9002 certification.
Jun. 1997 Head Office Electrical Works Department acquired ISO9001 certification.
Jul. 1998 Osaka Branch Office and Hiroshima Branch Office ISO9002 certification.
Jul. 1998 Head Office Electrical Works Department expanded ISO9001 certification to the Kitakanto, Chiba, and Yokohama Business Offices.
Oct. 1998 SECM Sdn. Bhd., Malaysia acquired ISO9002 certification.
Feb. 2000 Head Office Electrical Works Department expanded ISO9001 certification to the Tohoku and Chubu Branch Offices.
Mar. 2000 Hokkaido Branch Office acquired ISO9002 certification.
May. 2000 Hiroshima Electrical Manufacturing Factory acquired ISO9001 certification.
Oct. 2001 SECM Sdn. Bhd., Malaysia acquired ISO9001 certification.
Nov. 2001 Singapore Branch Office acquired ISO9001 certification.
Jun. 2002 Integrated all business offices into the eastern Japan block and the western Japan block.
Eastern Japan block completed transition to ISO9001:2000 version.
Aug. 2002 Western Japan block completed transition to ISO9001:2000 version.
Apr. 2003 Hiroshima Electrical Manufacturing Factory completed transition to ISO9001:2000 version.
Feb. 2005 SEC Mashibah Sdn. Bhd., Brunei acquired ISO9001 certification.
Apr. 2009 Hiroshima Electrical Manufacturing Factory completed transition to ISO9001:2008 version, and certification expanded to Chiba Electrical Manufacturing Factory.
May. 2010 Eastern Japan block completed transition to ISO9001:2008 version.
Western Japan block completed transition to ISO9001:2008 version.

Environmental policy for ISO 14000 series


We have established the following environmental policy and are making continuous efforts to conserve of the global environment in order to improve the environment and prevent pollution.

“We will make continuous efforts to conserve the global environment based on our Management Philosophy, ‘We will protect and nurture the natural environment.’”

Sep. 1998 Head Office Electric Power Division acquired ISO14001 certification.
Dec. 2009 Each Branch Office of Electric Power Division acquired ISO14001 certification.
